In this video I’m tracking product details views using the Enhanced Ecommerce feature of Google Analytics, BUT doing some manipulation of the data layer at the same time. The challenge is to work with the data layer that exists already, even though it isn’t in the exact format needed by Google Tag Manager. In around 15 minutes we get everything set up as follows: 1. Inspect current data layer 2. Create variables within GTM to pick up values 3. Create a new productDetailView variable in GTM that converts the data layer values into a format GTM expects. 4. Create a trigger to fire when a product page is viewed. 5. Create a event to be sent to Google Analytics when a product page is viewed, which also triggers the Enhanced Ecommerce product detail view code. 6. Set up the Google Analytics admin interface. 7. Inspect the Enhanced Ecommerce reports to check everything is working.

So the first thing we're going to look at here is this is actually for be dancewear this is not for the asana yoga clothing brand that I’ve been working on. So if you go to your products you can see that these are the different products I have available and for instance here's some SKUs or some item IDs Blue dance skirts etc. etc. now if we go into google AdWords we see here that I have a bunch of the different campaigns and the way I have mine set up and I’d recommend setting them up is the campaigns are separated by the type of item it is and the reason is you're able to use a better negative keyword targeting. So let's walk through one of these campaigns. So I’ll make a new one I’ll make one that I’ve already have. So you can see it from scratch first go plus campaign shopping I’m going to call this one dance pants PL and I put a PL in the campaign name to signify product listing ads this is. So when I go in analytics I can see which of my campaigns or product listing ads and which ones are not Crunch you a country of sale we're going to go to United States I'm just going to do only United States for me Personally let's say default bid of $20. and five dollars a day just to put something there and also put a schedule here like maybe you don't want to show it in the mornings things like that you can create custom schedule change the times that you want to do it I'm not going to deal with that right now because this is just a for fun one. So actually I'll call it dance pants PL fake just. So I know that later I should delete it save and continue now there's a couple different ways to do it one way to do it is just make one general ad group which you can do I like doing different I like doing a specific ad group for every product it's really up to you what you want to do on that. So I'm going to call this green dance pants just for now just to show you one thing you can do instead is go like this and then subdivide it by item ID. So let's go save and continue'. So that would give you a group with a lot of different options here. So you basically put all your products into one group there's Other ways you can do it as well. So let's show some of the other ways you can do it find my. So that's one way in another way you can do it is let's make another ad group. So I'll add ad group here ad group now I'll just call it a group number two and then you can subdivide by product type save and continue' and now it's subdivided by product type. So these are like dance pants are like red Irish dance skirt green everything else there's a few in there : this is all my different leggings everything else. So those are some of the ways that you can divide it this one is divided by the number basically the product number. So that's everything in this category in this product group right here but the way that I ultimately like to do it let me show you how I would do it. So ad groups ad group create one ad group yes or no I just do it like this and let's say dance pants fake save and continue' then it takes you here what you can do is click that little plus sign go buy item ID or add bulk values manually. So now at this point you can copy and paste your bulk values right here I'm going to pull it from my data feed depending on how you're doing how you did it if you did it automatically it's a little bit different you just you take the numbers one by one but I'm going to pull it from my data feed. So this is my data feed here and I did this manually I could do a separate video if you guys are interested in how to do a manual data feed but let me go down. So we see these are a bunch this is basically the item ID this is the title the description a link to the actual product an image link the GTIN and nan I don't have I don't have a GTIN because that's just the way my brain works the brand is my own brand I go this is the category product category pink lycra and then product type at the end here 2:07 alright. To make it easier for users to enter data in an Excel workbook, create drop down lists in the cells, by using Excel data validation. In this example there is a list of products on one worksheet, and the drop down lists will be created on a different worksheet. The list of products is named, and that name is used to create the drop down list. The drop down list shows the product name and the product code. After the product is selected, the full description is automatically replaced by the product code, by using Excel VBA that runs when the worksheet is changed. Product Feed Export Set Up in CS-Cart Multi-Vendor Marketplace

In CS-Cart Multi-Vendor marketplace platform https://www.cs-cart.com/multi-vendor-personal-demo.html , by using the data feeds feature you can export products feeds from your marketplace in different formats and import them to shopping directories such as Shopzilla and Google Shopping. You can execute this procedure automatically via CRON. Go to Add-ons - Manage add-ons and make sure the Data Feeds add-on is installed and activated. Click it to open the add-on settings and enter your CRON password. To create a product feed go to Add-ons - Data Feeds. Click the Plus button to add a new feed. On the General tab, fill in the general fields and specify the server and ftp where you want to export product feeds. And in the CRON settings select where the data feed must be uploaded to: a directory on the current server or a third-party FTP server. You can use this command to run the export via CRON Switch to the Exported items tab and add categories and products you want to export. On the fields mapping tab, arrange a list of fields included in the data feed. Enter here the position of the field relative to the position of other fields in the data feed. Enter the Field name here and the meaning of the data in the field here. Tick this checkbox to enable and disable the field. Once you’re done with setting up the data feed, click Create.

Due to the long life times of today’s products it can be difficult for an engineer to analyse the time-to-failure data obtained under normal operating conditions. However, Life Data Analysis (Weibull Analysis) enables you to predict the life of a product by fitting a statistical distribution to life data from a representative sample of units. This data set can then be used to estimate important life characteristics of the product such as reliability or probability of failure at a specific time, the mean life and the failure rate. Watch this video to learn how to analyse product failures, from lab and field data, by generating models to predict expected life times using ReliaSoft Weibull++ software. This type of analysis can help identify issues early, by highlighting where failures appear on the bathtub curve and action can be taken proactively to fix problems.

A PDT is a product data template, the phrase was coined first by CIBSE the Chartered Institute of Building Service Engineers as a way of stating the data properties that are required for individual products. What you had was different organizations developing PDTs such as the NBS, such as CIBSE, BIM for manufacturing group. What recently happened that they have all come together to try to develop one type of PDT for all these different types of products. coBuilder has been making PDTs for many number of years we have many hundreds of it, we are delighted to be part of the group with CIBSE, BIM4M2 and NBS to share and collaborate and PDTs will give us set ways of asking for the right types of data for individual products.

Import stock levels to WooCommerce with WP All Import: http://www.wpallimport.com/woocommerce-product-import/ Learn how to import stock levels from an XML or CSV (or Excel) file into existing products already on your site. You can also schedule the stock update to run on a schedule with a cron job to ensure the stock levels on your site always match the stock levels in your inventory management/POS system. If you have the URL to your stock levels file, WP All Import can continually check it for updates, and import the stock levels from it to your WooCommerce store on a pre-defined schedule. WP All Import has the option to ONLY update your stock levels - so you can import a feed only containing product stock levels, or you can import a feed containing stock levels and all the other WooCommerce product data - and WP All Import can optionally ignore the rest of the data and just update your stock levels. If your inventory management system can export to XML or CSV, you can use the WooCommerce add-on for WP All Import to import your inventory and stock levels to WooCommerce.
